Officers were called to Albert Einstein High School at around 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25, to investigate the latest threat that was directed toward a Montgomery County school.

It comes on the heels on the latest incident at Montgomery Blair High School.

The school was initially ordered to shelter in place as the Montgomery County Department of Police evaluated, and the building was later evacuated, according to officials.

Officers remained at the school until around 11 a.m. on Wednesday morning, when the department announced that the building had been cleared after an hours-long search and students and staff began returning to class.

No information about the initial threat was released by the police.
